Traditions

This place I now call home has many Advent traditions.  The one that is most visible is the outdoor Advent wreath.

Many in this town who have no idea what Advent means share that they love watching each week as another "candle" is lit.  Each one a reminder that the birth of the Christ child is drawing closer.

For those that call this place home with me, it is a tangible reminder of our traditions and those saints that have come before us and those who have helped form us.

I pray that you may have the power to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. (Ephesians 3.18-19)

What are some so the tangible signs of Advent in your community?

    1. I did not. It was made by another artist using pipe and plaster of paris.
